Ladybird provides Nursery children with what they need: a safe place with rich opportunities to use all their senses to explore new things freely. They want to feel independent, capable, and competent.

The child's first three years are critical for the development of the brain and language. We realize that Nursery and Toddler children should be exposed to a world filled with responsive interactions and languages. We are aware that we should read to the children during the day, help them to have many conversations with us and with other children, and listen and respond to their vocalizing sounds and words. We let them explore music and use all their intelligences in learning new things around them. Ladybird Nursery program helps them develop their motor skills freely. We encourage children to practice their ability in body control and balance and to become aware of how their body functions.

Children’s’ interest are valued and explored within our rich environment. Our Project Approach program leads to the emergence of an in-depth curricular study. This integrated curriculum and hands-on approach is used to teach skills and concepts in the learning, fostering problem-solving ability and independent thinking. Ladybird realizes that Kindergarten 3 children will soon be entering primary schools. The role of kindergartens has changed with increased expectations for formal instruction. Primary schools have a range of expectations regarding the level of a child’s readiness for physical, social and academic performance.

Ladybird develops expectations and practices which have a definite relevance to the international schools that the children will be attending. There is a clear emphasis on the development of mathematics, social, science, and English, and literacy skills. Skills of listening carefully, following on assigned tasks, and working cooperatively are reinforced as children are engaged in projects and daily activities.
